John Barrowman to return to ‘Doctor Who’?
In a brand new interview Torchwood star John Barrowman has confirmed that if he was asked, he would be happy to return to Doctor Who.
читать дальшеSpeaking to Zap2it, Barrowman announced, “I’ve always said that if I’m asked to go back to Doctor Who, I’ll go at the drop of a hat. That’s where Captain Jack got his beginnings.”
The star added that the return of Captain Jack to Doctor Who had “already been discussed” by showrunner Steven Moffat and the creator of Torchwood Russel T. Davies. “It’s in the cards, but who knows whether it will happen?”
Earlier this year Steven Moffat insisted that he would love to have Captain Jack back on Doctor Who.
In the interview Barrowman also discusses Matt Smith’s portrayal of the Doctor
“I like Matt Smith and he brings his own quirkiness to it,” Barrowman said. “When a new Doctor starts, everybody goes along for the journey because they love the show. But then you attach yourself to that Doctor.” The star added, “There’s a whole new generation who are now attached to Matt, and rightly so…. but David Tennant is my Doctor.”
